On an Entourage!!!

After years of denial, finally i thought about giving a try to Entourage ,the HBO original comedy drama series.I knew it was loosely based on the life of Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg and his friends and family. It is all about life in Hollywood.

Frankly speaking the people in Hollywood scare me.In fact people in all film industries scare me,including bollywood .They can act classy ,talk smooth and have millions of people behind them but they have that aspect of cheapness and greed in them. The movie industry all over world can claim to be corporate ,organized and honest business but it is hard to take the greed and cheap mentality out of them.I love movies,i love the art but lately the art factor is limited to film festivals and it has been mostly about money. You see unworthy actors landing big roles and making a mess of it.In bollywood the star kids are like a pest that has been leeching the art from inside.

If you are a struggler then you have to see it hard way,or maybe you just cannot see it ever. One fine day you can wake up to see/read about a movie or its music ,which was actually your brainchild. And you might feel robbed and raped off your idea and talent.

Its pretty common in bollywood when plagiarists make millions over stolen material and sometimes you are not paid for your job.It is a shame to see movies lifted from hollywood flicks and made in a poor way.The director completely fails to Indianise the concept ,so it is more easy for the audiences to accept.Bollywood ,no matter how popular it is,it strictly lacks professionalism. After watching Entourage i came to know a few inside things about Hollywood and i do appreciate the way they handle things over there.

In India ,i come from Mumbai city, which is like the HQ of bollywood.Trust me,the industry is run by handful people. Some of them belonging to a particular community and who only give opening to artists or people from their own.The concept of professionalism is under huge doubt here with most of the unaccounted money being invested in the industry by the likes of Dawood and co.

The bollywood whines like a bitch about the privacy.but its the same people like dawood who are selling pirated copies all over the world and making big bucks.

Bollywood should seriously ask a question to themselves. Is our work worth to be watched in a multiplex by spending more than 150 rupees per piece??

Answer is NO.No one would like to spend so much money for garbage storyline and scripts which are poorly lifted from the west.No one wants to see 40+ Amir and Shahrukh with wrinkles all over their faces wearing hep clothes and pretending to be in college. No one wants to see "heroines" projected as sex symbols rather than an important character in the movie. The name Bollywood itself is "inspired " from Hollywood. Why couldn't they think of a better name?

Piracy is equally bothering Hollywood. They are making good money but they need to bring the cost of DVDs down and make them readily available all over the world, uncut and uncensored. Then they wont get a chance to bemoan how internet pirates are ruining their business and how piratebay is the biggest villain.

Piracy is a crime and every crime has its reason. There is no point in fastening the laws to kill the crime, the criminals are smart enough to find loopholes.Instead trying knowing the root cause.People love to pay out of their pockets for a worthy piece.Everyone like being entertained after all with quality stuff.

While i am on my entourage about the films and movie world...you guys keep it reel..oops real...
